Almedahls Swedish dishcloths: indispensable in your kitchen
The dry sponge of Almedahls was invented as early as 1949 by Swedish technician Curt Lindqvist! It is now impossible to imagine not only Scandinavian kitchens, but also yours.
They are very convenient to use. Not only does the dishcloth absorb water very well (they slurp up to 15 times their own weight!), But you can also wash them in the washing machine at 90º C! The dishcloths are made of natural materials: 70% cellulose and 30% cotton. This makes them 100% biodegradable (allowed in the green container).
The size of this dry sponge / dishcloth is 18 x 20 cm.
Picnic series from Almedahls
The Picnic series was designed in the 50s by the Swedish Marianne Westman. Almedahls has revived the design with the tea towels, placemats and dishcloths. In the designs you see ingredients that are often used in Scandinavian dishes: fresh vegetables, herbs such as dill and fish of course.
