Georg Jensen

The renowned Danish brand Georg Jensen, a leader in luxury design for over 100 years, stands for quality craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic design. The brand produces lifestyle items, from jewelry and key rings to candle holders and barware, and maintains its original ethos of craftsmanship behind every design.

Georg Jensen's designs

Georg's style was strongly influenced by the Art Nouveau of the time, but was also influenced by the characteristic design that still resonates today. Clear, wavy shapes with delicate decorations reflect Georg Jensen's love and admiration for nature.

Today, the company works to pass down Georg's ideas and principles with a modern interpretation that fits contemporary homes and households.

ALFREDO HÄBERLI

The company's success is also due to Georg Jensen's ability to discover and help develop talented designers. An example of this is the famous Argentinian Alfredo Häberli. In 1991 he graduated in industrial design from the Höhere Schule für Gestaltung in Zurich, where he is now located.

His designs combine tradition and innovation with joy and energy, strongly influenced by his childhood in Argentina. The result is a strong and emotional expression and Alfredo has won numerous awards in his working years. He was guest of honor at the 20th Biennale for Design in Kortrijk, Belgium, and was named Hand Designer of the Year in 2009 by the prestigious A&W Magazine (Architektur & Wohnen).

CONSTANTIN WORTMANN

Constantin Wortmann is responsible for the design of the popular Cobra series. Hand studied design in Munich, later followed by an internship and a number of design projects on a freelance basis for Ingo Maurer. In 1998 he founded the design studio Büro für Form with Benjamin Hopf, and numerous international awards and exhibitions attest to their great success.

The studio works on interior design, industrial design, furniture design and lighting design. Constantin Wortmann has designed several beloved objects for Georg Jensen Living, including the popular COBRA series. Its elegant design language is in perfect harmony with Georg Jensen's design and more projects are already in the pipeline.

Georg Jensen's craftsmanship and talent created the foundation for the now world famous Georg Jensen company in Copenhagen in 1904.

Classic Danish Design

The brand is built on shared values of integrity, authenticity and classic Danish design. Georg Jensen reflects Danish values, simplicity, Scandinavian light, clean water and fresh air. These values are also contained in the vision, mission and values of the company. Much of it is great respect for the company's heritage and is seen as a prerequisite for offering products that today's consumer desires.
